The Withering meeting room is an impressive and airy space taking up to 18 delegates and extending to 32 theatre sytle; and 40 reception style, when you retract the wall separating it from the Hall-Edwards room.
Ideally sized to hold more intimate-style conferences, workshops and team meetings, the Withering is an ideal space for those small events which require a flexible room capacity.
Situated in a quiet area of the Medical Technologies Innovation Centre (MTIC) in central Birmingham, room hire includes all the essential tools you’ll need to ensure your meeting runs smoothly.

Who was Withering?
William Withering (1741–1799) worked as a physician at Birmingham General Hospital. His research into the effect of digitalis, also known as the foxglove, on dropsy (swelling from congestive heart failure) led the way for its use in the medical world as an active medical ingredient.
